Accountant Program Manager

Under the immediate supervisor’s direction, responsible for payrolls, budget development, expenditure control, monitoring of specific grant awards, and collection of receivables. Perform accounting, auditing and fiscal analysis duties involved in the preparation, maintenance, analysis, and verification of the agency’s fiscal records, monthly financial statements, cash flow analysis, monthly reconciliations, and reports to various federal and state agencies and funding sources. Supervise vendor payments, payroll, and payroll reporting. Prepare and implement accounting procedures in accordance with GAAP to ensure accountability. Serve as a resource for interpretation of federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations, especially related to funding terms and conditions.

Center Director I / II

Under the immediate supervisor’s direction, Center Director I / Center Director II is involved in all areas of center operation and is responsible of the assigned child care facility.

Center Director I, under the supervision and guidance of the immediate supervisor, plans and implements a comprehensive program for children ages 0-5 years. Capacity of center ranges from 20-50 children. Center Director I may be required to teach one class of children, where applicable.

Center Director II, under the supervision and guidance of the immediate supervisor, plans and implements a comprehensive program for children ages 0-5 years. Capacity of center is 40-plus children, inclusive of infants/toddlers. (Note: any center providing multi-age range (0-5) positions is classified as Center Director I/II

Under the immediate supervisor’s direction, performs necessary duties in planning and implementing a food program that meets the requirements of the Child Care Food Program for Preschool Children. The Food Service Head Cooks plans/prepares meals for more than 40 children. The Food Service Cooks plans/prepares meals for 40 children or less. Shops for food and other products, keeps records of and inventories supplies and food, maintains a clean organized, well stocked kitchen. Checks all equipment to assure that they are operating at the required temperature and designed condition.

Under the immediate supervisor’s direction, providing crisis intervention to specialty populations, leads activities for sexual assault response team, adheres to best practices identified by the National Children’s Alliance, provides services to incarcerated survivors under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA), and provides advocacy services to human trafficking survivors and commercial sexually exploited children in Madera County.
