What is Community Action Partnership of Madera County?
Community Action Partnership of Madera County (CAPMC) was established in 1965 as a result of the Economic Opportunity Act (EOA) of 1964. The EOA was signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson to support his declaration of an unconditional “War on Poverty.” CAPMC, a 501c(3) non-profit organization, has dedicated its programs and services to address the needs of the low-income residents of Madera County over the past four decades.
