An Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan is required for child care centers that use pesticides in order to meet the Healthy School Act requirements.
CAPMC has completed a plan for each center, and has provided easy access to these plans by uploading them to maderacap.org, the Agency’s website, on the front page under the How Can We Help You section, to make them available for parents and members of the community.
The IPM plan includes information related to the IPM team for each center, the types of pesticides that are used, and what methods are used to prevent unnecessary use of pesticides.
