QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, ability, core competencies, and/or physical required. Completion of the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Counselor training per Evidence Code 1035.2-1035.4 and 1037.1 may be required. California Victim Witness Entry Level Advocate Training may be required within one year of employment. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Advocate III/Victim Services
ADVOCATE III / Victim Services
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Victimology, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.
▪ Three years’ experience in social services case management preferred.
Advocate II/Victim Services
▪ Associate’s Degree in Criminology, Victimology, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or related field
▪ Two years’ experience in social services case management preferred.
