The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Local Host Committee warmly invites you and all community members to a special celebration honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, 601 Lilly Street, Madera. The event begins with a reception at 2:00 p.m., followed by the main program at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free!
The theme is ‘The Dream Continues: My Courage to Speak!’. Students from local schools will share amazing speeches, connecting this year’s theme and Dr. King’s ideals into their own personal experiences and aspirations.

- Welcome Address: Donald Holley, President of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Local Host Committee
- Introduction of Dignitaries and Speakers: Dr. Cecilia Massetti, Madera County Superintendent of Schools
- Invocation and Benediction: Rev. Charles Bostick
- Musical Selection: Second Missionary Baptist Church Choir
