The HELP Center supports individuals in their journey toward housing stability.

The Homeless Engagement for Living Program (HELP Center) is composed of homeless outreach workers, housing case workers, data entry technicians, and a housing coordinator that will assist those experiencing homelessness in Madera County. 

HELP Center Services

Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to secure stable and safe housing. 

We are dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate housing challenges. Whether you’re facing homelessness, struggling with rent, or seeking affordable housing options.

Document Collection

  • Identification
  • Social Security Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Medical/CalFresh Card
  • Wrap Around Services

  • Making referrals to partner agencies such as behavioral health, HSP, By Name List to Coordinated Entry, etc.
  • Assist with transportation when possible, provide hygiene kits, deliver food.
  • Case Management

  • Completing Individual Service Plan & Housing Assessment.
  • Unit searching and assistance with app. fees & move-in costs.
  • Navigation through community search or Coordinated Entry.
  • The HELP Center participates in the Fresno Madera Continuum of Care (FMCoC) and its Coordinated Entry Systems (CES) to ensure a standardized process that will provide the appropriate services to individuals and families residing in Madera County.
