Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) has exhausted its funds and is now closed. We understand the difficulties this may cause and encourage you to explore other community resources. Thank you for your understanding and support.

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally funded program that provides assistance to eligible low-income households with the goal of managing and meeting their energy costs and immediate home heating and/or cooling needs.

If you qualify, this credit can take up to 90 days to appear on your account (from the day the application is processed) and is not for emergency assistance.

Households may only apply once per program year.

Assistance is subject to eligibility and availability of funds. It’s your responsibility to continue making payments on your PG&E utility bill.
