Core Competencies

Community Action Partnership of Madera County (CAPMC) honors excellence and holds itself to the highest standards of honesty, fairness, and personal integrity in the performance of job responsibilities. To ensure standards are met, a set of Core Competencies (each defined by distinct job standards) for non-supervisory and supervisory/management personnel has been developed.

The Agency’s established value beliefs and job competencies are observable conduct/behavior and actions expected from each employee are based on:

  • The position, not the individual
  • Observable behaviors and actions
  • Meaningful, reasonable, and attainable job standards
  • The ability to meet standards and behavior expectations once trained

The established Core Competencies help ensure that each employee understands what job-related behavior/conduct and competencies are necessary to achieve success within the Agency.
